Kurt Vonnegut

R.I.P. Kurt Vonnegut. I just wanted to recognize Vonnegut here, seeing as I give many of his novels (along with the band Rage Against the Machine) credit for getting me interested in politics and the world around me. Ironically enough, I've ended up in a very different place, but I give credit where credit is due.

It's about the religious experience that all people of all religions have. It explains what happens in a person's brain during these experiences, and even how one scientists can create the feeling of the presence of God.

Are all religious experiences artificial? Or are we just finding ways to produce artificial religious experiences?
