Further Signs of the Apocalypse
So, after 20 years, the Simpsons has a new theme. I'm shocked and horrified, but perhaps it's appropriate, given that mediocre visual gags are all the show has left.

Ugh. One of the products Marge is buying at the store is tomacco juice.
A few thoughts from a giant nerd...
- Bullies are cutting off the head of Jebadiah when they were the ones who wanted to beat up the person who originally did it (Bart).
- When Bart is riding his skateboard down the sidewalk, he passes the crazy cat lady, Disco Stu, Apu's octuplets and the Texas Oil Tycoon that shoots his guns in the air. In the original some of the characters passed were one episode characters (Jacque the bowler), but I'd much prefer them over one note characters.
- How awful is it that Homer gets hit by the car? Not because it's too violent, but because him screaming and beating it into the house was so iconic. Homer gets hit in a Treehouse of Horror episode, that should say it all.
